FRIDAY, JULY 22 – From 4-7pm you can stop in at St. Stephen’s Church Silent Auction &Place your bids. (photos of silent auction items on our website www.ststephenspittsfieldnh.org.)
At 8:30pm, The Suncook Valley Rotary Club will show a FREE movie, “Wizard of Oz” at Drake Field. Bring your own chairs and blankets.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
SATURDAY, JULY 23 — Please NOTE – Main Street will Close at 8:00 am until after Parade.
from 7-10 am, Breakfast at Park Street Baptist Church will be served- Cost is by Donation
at 8 am, The St. Stephen’s Church Summer Fair – Silent Auction, Baked Goods, Joe’s Famous Hot Dogs at the Sidewalk Café will open.
at 9am, the FESTIVITIES BEGIN AT DUSTIN PARK begin and include A Ribbon Cutting/Dedication of Renovated Dustin Park Bandstand (Eagle Scout Project of Tucker Wolfe), MUSIC BY DON SMITH, The Community Fair of vendors, crafters and organizations, Kids Craft Table – FREE, Face Painting, Carnival Games & other kids activities, Best Whoopie Pie Cookoff, Jujubee the Clown-Balloon Twister,
9-12 noon CAR SHOW ON MAIN STREET – All are invited to bring their classic, vintage or hot rod car or truck – no entry fee. Music by JACKIE LEE from 10-12.
The Pittsfield Historical Society (on Elm Street) will be open for visitors to check out the great local artifacts.
At 10:00, the KIDS OLYMPICS – Pie Eating Contest, Water Balloon Toss, Sack Race, Three Legged Race, and Hurdles
At 11:00, the FANCY FOOTWORK JUMP ROPE TEAM will perform on Main Street
At 11:30, the UNITED MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY will perform a KARATE DEMO in Dustin Park
At 12:15pm, The KIDS BIKE PARADE on Main St. – All kids are invited to bring their decorated bikes, scooter or wagon and join the parade. Prizes for the top three winners!
At 1:00pm, the “Big” PARADE – with the theme – “Pittsfield Goes for the Gold!” *** Watch for the Torch Run around town just prior to the parade!
From 2:00-4:00, there will be swim time and a cookout at the F.B. ARGUE RECREATION AREA (Town Pool)
At 2:30, An ADOPT A DUCK RACE will be held. Sponsored by and money raised for the PMHS Basketball Program. $5 per Duck or 3 for $10. One prize for 1/2 the money collected. 500 Ducks are waiting!!! Duck Race is to be held at the Barnstead Rd Bridge by the Boat Launch. Call Jay Darrah 435-6701 for tickets.
At 3:00, the GUNS & HOSES SOFTBALL GAME at DRAKE FIELD (Members of Pittsfield Police Association VS Members of Pittsfield Fire Association). FREE Admission and Concession Stand will be available
At Dusk (approx. 9:15pm) – Fireworks – Drake Field (approx. 9:15pm)
