The Food Pantry hours, located in the Basement of the Town Hall, are Mon – 11-2 pm & 4-6 pm and Thurs – 11-2 pm. Donations of non-perishable food and personal products are always needed and greatly appreciated. For more information, call 435-6773, X19.
Save the Date for Old Home Day – Sat, July 22 and the theme of the day is “Pittsfield Old Home Day, The Greatest Show on Earth!”…..a circus theme! We would love to have ALL the organizations in town have a float in the parade.
The Pittsfield Players present the show “Eat Your Heart Out” on March 31 and April 1 at 7:30 pm and April 2 at 2 pm at the Scenic Theatre. Tickets are $15/person and may be purchased by calling 435-8852 or visit the Players website at www.pittsfieldplayers.com.
Free Pottery Workshops open to all on Sat, April 1 from 8:30-10 am & 10:30-12 at Pittsfield Middle High School. Come join us in creating ceramic soup bowls that will be sold as a benefit for the Pittsfield Food Pantry. The benefit will be held on May 23 – watch for more information.

The Read, Meet & Talk Book Discussion Group will meet on Tues, March 28 at 10:30 pm at the Senior Center.
Starting April 1, hours of operation at Josiah Carpenter Library will be: Monday & Wednesday- 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm, Tuesday & Thursday- 10:00- 2:30 pm,
Friday & Saturday- 10:00-1:00 pm. Please note that the library’s restroom remains unavailable for public use.
The Pittsfield Senior Center is sponsoring an Easter and Spring flower arrangement class on Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 am. Dana Sansom, a retired professor of horticulture technology, will be teaching the class. If you have, a small basket and items that you would like to use you can bring them to the class. If you would like to bring in real flowers to learn how to make arrangements Dana will teach you. Otherwise, some items will be provided. Please call 435-8482 if planning to attend, so the supplies can be coordinated properly.
