The Greater Pittsfield Chamber of Commerce will meet on Monday, March 13 at 7pm at the Community Center, lower level.

The Pittsfield Youth Workshop has Drop-in hours each day from 3-6pm this week.. For more information, contact Zach or Paula at 435-8272.

The Pittsfield Youth Workshop is 30 years old!! Plans are being made to celebrate this wonderful milestone. If you attended PYW, worked at PYW, volunteered at PYW anytime over the past 30 years – we want to hear from you. Please contact Zach or Paula at 435-8272 or info@pittsfieldyouthworkshop.org so we can update your contact info. SAVE THE DATE, JUNE 24 – Watch for more information about the celebration.

The Food Pantry hours, located in the Basement of the Town Hall, are Mon – 11-2pm & 4-6pm and Thurs – 11-2pm. Donations of non-perishable food and personal products are always needed and greatly appreciated. For more information, call 435-6773, X19.

The Historical Society Program Committee will meet on Tues, March 14 at 7pm at Bill Provencal’s house.

Save the Date for Old Home Day – Sat, July 22 and the theme of the day is “Pittsfield Old Home Day, The Greatest Show on Earth!”…..a circus theme!

Election day for Town & School District candidates is Tuesday, March 14. The polls will be open at the town hall from 7:00am – 7:00pm. Visit the town website at www.pittsfieldnh.gov to view the Town proposed budget, warrant articles, ballots and Rules of the Town meeting.

The School District Meeting is on Thursday, March 16 at 7:00pm at the Pittsfield Elementary School gymnasium. Please visit the school website at www.pittsfieldhschools.org for a sample ballot and the proposed budget.

The Town Meeting is on Saturday, March 18 at 10:00am at the Pittsfield Elementary School gymnasium.

The Pittsfield Players present the show “Eat Your Heart Out” on March 24, 25, 31 and April 1 at 7:30pm and April 2 at 2pm at the Scenic Theatre. Tickets are $15/person and may be purchased by calling 435-8852 or visit the Players website at www.pittsfieldplayers.com.

To tie in with the play’s restaurant theme, a special “dinner and show” deal (a three course dinner at Main Street Grill and show ticket for the show after dinner for $35) will be offered for the March 24th performance. Dinner and show tickets can be purchased at the restaurant or reserved by calling 435-8852.

Plan to be at the Senior Center on Tuesday, March 14 at 10:30 and enjoy the performance by Bill Parker. He sings a wide variety of music/songs from the Great American Songbook. The show is free and you can plan to stay for lunch. Call 435-8482 to reserve a lunch spot or for more information.

Come and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, March 17, at 1:00pm at the Senior Center. The Senior Center is co-hosting an event with the Josiah Carpenter Library with a returning performance by Ramblin Richard. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, he will be performing an Irish music and stories program.
